Ok, so it's very VERY rare that I post anything even remotely interesting here (arguably). But, I decided it was time to babble just a litte. Well, I say babble, but show off is probably a better description.

There is an arcade game around called a 'stacker' machine (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stacker_(game) ). In the last month or so i've won a Nintendo DS (probably worth about £100) and a Nintendo WII (worth more like £180 online these days). I put £1 in the time I won the DS and £2 into the stacker machine for the WII. Thats not all I put in mind, I'm estimating I've spent around £25 in total. So in other words - a good profit margin!

Now it's only fair if I share how i've done it, so perhaps other people can go down to the arcades and win some good stuff for not much money - like I did (just stay away from the ones on the sea front in southsea, thats my turf, bitches :D)!

Now, to *win* the game - it's easy. You just need a little hand to eye co-ordination and perhaps a couple of practice go's. To help with this task (if you want to try and follow in my footsteps) I suggest trying out an online flash game that roughly simulates the stacker machine in the arcades - click here to play it (I got it off some website and uploaded it here, if you made it or soemthing and i'm not aload just shout and i shall take it off...). This internet game is faster than the real deal, so if you can win it every time you should have no problem with the real thing.

So, once you're able to get to the top the next thing you need to know is that the machine cheats. Very much so. If you read the manual on the website that sells the machines (HERE) it will explain that the owners can set it to have either a 200:1 or an 800:1 chance of paying out. We can assume that everyone will set it to 800:1 then. I think this means that after 800 plays the machine will be ready to pay out. (otherwise im very very very lucky, too lucky infact for it to be possible)!

It is worth mentioning that there are two types of stacker machine. Big ones and small ones. The big ones have better prizes and (in my opinion) are easier to win anyway - so only play the big ones! The picture found at wikipedia is of a small one.

So, the technique to win is this...

Firstly, get good enough so you can win every time.
Then, once you've done that, go back to the machines once a week, have one go and get to the top. It will be quite obvious if its not ready to pay out because it will cheat (either on the top or second to top line it will skip a block even though you know you have lined it up). If it does this, walk away.
You then wait another week so some more people can play it and get it closer to pay-out day. Then, finally, one of these weeks (were looking at £4 a month here) it is likely that you will win, and get a nice hefty (worth loads of money) prize.
